Bridgewater House

This house has all the comfort quality and features of an architecturally designed eco house. The house is light and spacious and beautifully executed, creating a sense of luxury and elegance. Sited on a standard block in a suburban street, it is proof that environmentally friendly housing is equally at home in built-up areas as it is within sweeping landscapes. A second floor takes in available views and creates ample space, while allowing the home to maintain a small footprint.

Built with SIPs, hydronic under floor heating, double glazed windows, feature rammed earth walls for thermal mass, timber battens to the exterior for seasonal shading, solar hot water and solar orientation, it is a textbook example of an environmentally friendly home.
